Pete Johnston to be Featured In Documentary

Welcome to the Bahama Bronze Documentary Blog,

Bahamian Sculptor Peter Johnston has recently announced his plans to produce an Original Documentary
Film on Bronze Casting.

An international team of film makers will spearhead the production over the next year.

Drawing from his expertise in the traditional lost wax bronze casting process, Pete will demonstrate a step by step process of the ancient art form.

This Documentary will follow Pete from his early creative process through the various steps of sculpting, mold making and casting, to the finished bronze sculpture.

The unique educational program will contain elements of Peter's remarkable story; growing up on a remote tropical island, living in a cave and learning the bronze process from his father, a college professor, artist and inventor.

Filmed on location in the Bahamas, the Documentary will reveal Peter's unique artistic process; the film will feature underwater footage of sea life - Peter's life long love of ocean exploration, rich Bahamian landscapes and interviews from the many colourful characters that have been a part of Pete's adventuresome life.

The Original Limited Edition Sculpture, the featured work in the film, will be available for pre-purchasing to select clients, who are interested in helping produce the film.

VIP clients will receive, along with the original featured Sculpture, the opportunity to have a brief appearance in the film. Each VIP client will also receive a Gold Producers Membership package, which includes, the movie DVD, a coffee table book of Peter's work and a maquette of the sculpture, all signed by Pete.
